Woke up nice and early to some lovely presents!! Doesn't happen every birthday but hey Russ Meyer films are always appreciated!!

The Fish and I left Cardiff early and headed for Glastonbury. Went to the Tor which was amazing. Really windy up top but very beautiful. After that and a quick drive through Frome which I was told was famous for the banjo. We stopped at a pub for lunch and also checked the map and saw we were really close to Longleat. Headed for the safari park only to be disappointed they don't let you in with vinyl roofed cars, so we took the bus through it. The monkeys were pretty docile so we didn't see any "car"nage but got really close to all the lions and wolves... Took the boat around the sea lions and sad looking Gorilla island and then did the maze in record time. Don't think the Fish wanted to do it hence why it only took us about 5 minutes to do!! I've never seen anyone race through one like that before, I did stand in the tower and help a lost family...

On the way home we stopped at Stonehenge which was amazing. Never been before and managed to see it at a beautiful time of day. Very magical! Finished the evening off at Love's for some fish and chips. An absolutely fun packed great birthday. Not a bad way to ring in 31 at all!! Thanks Fish!!
