Met up with Daniel and we went for a wander around Houston which looked like any downtown USA. There was a nice little river across the street from the venue that would have made a great shot with the band but I'll get to that later...

Saw a very interesting bike rack which looked like a cross between a bull ride and a weather cover, only in Texas I guess. (pictured) Headed to the venue and met up with the management person and the band. Bullet were great when we could get to them. Mr.Management had created this divide of everything had to go through him. OK can we go outside I ask no they won't go outside. So I asked again it's really close to the venue still no they won't go outside.

I asked what's the point of him being there if he can't get anything for us which I don't think he liked. But managed to get them to step 10 feet from the door so no river shots, yeah thanks for that... I hate being like that with people but you have to sometimes to remind them there are things you need to make a feature look half decent! Saw the Cancer Bats who were opening and they were on great form. We ended hanging with them as our point person was doing his best to play keep away!!

Daniel and I left midway through the gig and caught a flight up to Austin for another day of it tomorrow, maybe we'll get a little more but I really doubt it!
