Our flight landed pretty early so we went straight to the hotel and were able to get in a few hours of sleep before going to the first of two Dir En Grey shows.

Met everyone in the lobby and headed for the venue. Shot most of the show but the management had a few songs that they didn't want photographed. Not like it mattered too much as their lighting was only good to shoot for about 2 songs in the whole set. Way too many red lights on half power which don't make it easy!

After the show we met the band who didn't speak any English and then it was off to dinner with their very friendly and welcoming management to a place called Ninja! Well that's exactly what it was. We were served by Ninjas and the hallway looked like a dark alley from any martial arts film. Finished the night off with the classic Japanese past time of Karaoke. Our room was massive but not as big as the one across the hall which had a hot tub in it! Finally passed out back at the hotel around 6 unfortunately needed to be up at 10 to get ready for the shoot with the band...
