Spent the day with the lovely fish who has the week off. Couldn't figure out what to do so after a little drive we aimed for Swanbourne lake and went for a lovely walk around the area.Headed to Chich and before dinner with the school we went to the Earnley Butterflies and Gardens. When we pulled into the parking lot the clues were all there about how rubbish it was going to be, but we figured why not go in at least we'll have a funny story to tell...
I could probably fill a whole blog with a description of the place but here are a few highlights! After the best bit (the butterflies) there was a bird enclosure where some big red bird instantly went for me so we left there through what was probably the most rubbish set of gardens and a few other killer exhibits. But the best was yet to come as I couldn't resist going in the 20th century museum (or Rejectamenta as they called it) which was basically junk from the last few years, kind of like a bad pawn shop but nothing was for sale! After about 20 minutes we left as we felt we had our 7 quids worth!! Did have a great Indian family dinner to close the evening so it was all good.
