Today had to have been one of the longest days in a Jack Bauer styley! Was up around 330 to catch a 415 bus to Heathrow so I could meet up with Tom and get on our 740 flight to Stockholm... When we did land and made our way through customs we were greeted by the very nice guys of Amon Amarth!

They were the subject of our day trip to Sweden and they drove us to Uppsala or Gamla Uppsala which means "old" or maybe it was Swedish profanity?!? We hung out in the old Viking village with burial grounds, a church, and the like. They were great sports for photos which helped as they had loads of little kids watching them. I couldn't work out if it was a PE class doing laps around the burial mounds but they kept stopping to see the axe wielding band pose for photos!!

After the shoot Tom did the interview and we drank with them until it was time to head back to the airport for our flight. Really good guys as I said before as most bands would have dropped us back to the airport after everything was done but they were the perfect hosts, getting us to try some Swedish dishes and even some Mead which we found out wasn't alcoholic so we quickly switched to beer!! By the time Tom and I got on our delayed flight back we were probably hitting the hangover... Missed my bus by mere minutes at Heathrow so waited for another and it wasn't until 145 that I finally put key to door!
