The Fish and I drove to Courtlands parking which judging by the fact it's not miles from the airport will be the new lot of choice for airport parking. The first ones at check-in we met with Anna and without too much hassle from the Virgin staff checked in. Today was flight number 5 back and forth to Los Angeles in the last 2 weeks.Caught up on some films I hadn't seen the end of, Milk and Pineapple Express. But watched a documentary called Tyson which was great, could have done with some subtitles for his interviews though. After watching the touching Anvil! The Story Of Anvil saw episode one of Summer Heights High which looks like a brilliant series. Landed on time and went through the airport almost as quick as Chris Martin who was first in line. If you can go through as fast as the celebrities you aren't doing too bad...
Picked up the rental car and drove to and checked in at the Sunset Marquis which was great. It has the simple things right which most hotels get wrong, peace, quiet, low key vibe, and great service. Really if more hotels picked up on that they could be so much better. Before dinner did a quick drive around to check locations for Monday which all look they will work for the theme very nicely. Had dinner at Boa steakhouse which wasn't bad apart from it's location in the Grafton hotel and everyone finished at the Sunset Marquis bar while I retired early.
