Up a bit too early but after breakfast went back to the room and got right down to a load of p-shop. Everyone always says it must be great to see the places you go too, that seems to rarely happen these days as retouch takes up most of the time while I'm away.Had a quick lunch break with Tom at the Grove and after picking up rental gear from Samy's headed back to the hotel for some much needed sleep. As we were getting ready to go got the phone call that the shoot had been pushed back so finished off more retouch before getting in a cab to the shoot location, Marilyn Manson's house!
Steve from management helped me get everything in the house and we had a chat while we waited for everything to be ready. Manson had some lighting ideas which we tried first that were great, then we did a few pics of him getting ready before finishing up with some more pics in his room. Very easy going and an absolute pleasure to shoot, even had a glass of Mansinthe before getting back to the hotel after midnight. If only every musician/artist put in half the effort that Manson does for a photo shoot it would be so much easier!! Once back at the hotel rushed down to the Key Club only to be turned away from the Panther as the guest list was closed and the place was sold out, oh well will be there next week oddly enough!
